Today Online report by from Islamabad states that four Pakistani soldiers have reportedly been killed by Indian firing across the military line of control in the disputed Kashmir region. Pakistani Foreign Office summoned the Indian deputy high commissioner in Islamabad to lodge protest over the casualties. Tensions have mounted on the disputed border, giving rise to threat of an armed conflict between the nuclear South Asian rivals.
